World Financial Center to Welcome Stephen Norris at Distressed Investing Leades Forum 2009

Jul 12, 2009 – New York’s famed World Financial Center will welcome Stephen Norris, co-founder of The Carlyle Group and chairman of Gulf Cap Partners, LLC, at GoldenNetworking.com’s upcoming Distressed Investing Leaders Forum 2009. Mr. Norris will be joining more than 20 Distressed Investing experts at Distressed Investing Leaders Forum 2009 (http://www.DistressedInvestingLeadersForum.com).

Mr. Norris has served on the Boards of Directors of major Carlyle portfolio companies, and helped recruit George W. Bush to serve as director of one of its portfolio companies in addition to enlisting former Secretary of State James Baker III and former Secretary of Defense Frank C. Carlucci to be senior partners of Carlyle. Mr. Norris has been a principal advisor and independent consultant in numerous transactions, including real estate investments in Europe and the United States. Currently Mr. Norris is the Chairman of Gulf Cap Partners, LLC, an investment company that acquires interests in businesses and real estate and provides financial advisory services. Mr. Norris earned a B.S. and a J.D. from the University of Alabama, an LLM (Tax) from New York University and was a fellow at Yale Law School.
