More Choices For Corporate Training in Hartford Connecticut as Bold New Directions Opens Office

Jul 08, 2009 – While the office opened quietly some months ago, company founders Jim Hornickel & Suzanne Guthrie made the announcement official today from their New England headquarters.  Mr. Hornickel, the Director of Training and Development, commented: “We established the Hartford office to accommodate the growing number of clients in the Metropolitan Hartford area.  It is a full service venue where we offer public training seminars as well as organize delivery of training workshops that we provide at client locations”.  

Suzanne Guthrie, Director of Transformational Learning, added: “We are delighted with the positive response we have received regarding our expansion and we look forward to becoming more involved with Hartford businesses.  Hartford is a unique and thriving area and we are very pleased to be part of the downtown area”.  Ms Guthrie is responsible for generating new business in Hartford, overseeing daily operations, and delivering transformational training programs with select clients.  She has delivered training to many large clients in New England including IBM, Mercer, John Hancock, Bank of America & Smith College and looks forward to working more closely with Hartford based companies.  When asked if there is a need for corporate training providers in Hartford area, Ms Guthrie replied affirmatively adding that “we know from our clients that training programs in management, leadership, presentation skills, communication, negotiations and teambuilding are needed now more than ever.  During a slow down in the economy, savvy organizations continue to grow their people so they will be ready to thrive when the times improve”.  

Working closely with the Metro Hartford Alliance, Bold New Directions has recently organized a Presentation Training Program for Alliance Members.  Mr. Hornickel adds: “This is really a Presentation Tune-Up for Alliance members but it also gives us an opportunity to showcase our new office location to area colleagues”.
