Jun 22, 2009 – Florida inventor Al Dana believes he has uncovered the secret genius contained in one of DaVinci’s greatest works, Vitruvian Man, which fuses art with science. The work was intended by DaVinci to be a microcosm of the ( macrocosmic) universe. Depicting the Sun as central, the homologue in human physiology is the male phallus. Dana, 56, of South Florida, began to ponder the work during his days as a pre-medical student at the University of Florida in Miami.
