eCompliance Partners with CSA to Develop Series of Audit Solutions Built on eC-AuditTool Platform

Jun 01, 2009 – The CSA Z1600-08 Emergency Management & Business Continuity Program Assessment Tool is a practical, intuitive, and affordable software application, designed to provide a road map for successfully developing and implementing a comprehensive emergency preparedness and business continuity program. The application is built on the eCompliance eC-AuditTool platform and guides users through a process that includes verification through documentation, observations, and interviews. It helps to identify gaps in an existing program, and create an action plan, including tasks assignment features to address the gaps.
“Not only is the CSA Z1600-08 Emergency Management & Business Continuity Program Assessment Tool aligned with proven best practices it is also compliant with the International Standard that provides guidelines for Quality and/or Environmental Management System auditing (ISO 19011:2002)”, said Ben Snyman, President of eCompliance. “Through this application CSA offers a high-quality tool for implementation, data gathering, verification, suggestions for improvement and activity management in a systematic, reliable and reproducible audit process. This product represents the first in a series of planned software solutions resulting from a new strategic alliance between the Canadian Standards Association and eCompliance Management Solutions Inc. “eCompliance’s experience and innovation in performance support applications is well aligned with CSA’s mandate to make standards work for business and people”, said Kim Emmerson, Manager, Education and Product Development. Soon to follow will be an assessment tool to assist in the implementation of the CSA Z462 and CSA Z1000.
