New Apple iphone will be twice as fast as Current 3G “Borsa Financial”

Jun 18, 2009 – The new phone soon to be available worldwide. Apple claims it will be up to twice as fast as the current 3G iPhone, but I don’t yet see how remarked Borsa Financial.
Douglas Frampton of Borsa Financial stated It won’t be taking advantage of AT&T’s ballyhooed faster network because the network for some reason won’t be ready. AT&T is not even starting to deploy its new network until many months from now.
Apple instead must be souping up the new iPhone with faster processors or other chips, along with its new 3.0 software. The phone now has additional processor-intensive functions, such as a more powerful camera, video recording and playback. Apple says in its spec sheet on its Web site that it tested its new iPhone 3G S over current 3G and WiFi networks.
When I asked an Borsa Financial analyst Douglas Frampton what makes the new iPhone 3G S faster, he referred me to a video keynote from a recent Apple product video, which did not at this stage even give technical details.
Douglas Frampton went on to say that the AT&T, the telco giant will support the new iPhone 3G S, but he could not see it would be within Apple’s timeframe. AT&T is still figuring out how to price the service, among other things.
