Agencies Unite Under Experiential Communications Brand

Jun 15, 2009 – Long-time B2B agencies, Fluid Power Technologies International (FPTI) and Konstanz Kommunikations have been merged into Mountain Stream Group, Inc. (MSG) an experiential communications design consultancy based in suburban Chicago. Jeff Klingberg, president and CEO of MSG announced the consolidation earlier this month along with the launch of the consultancy’s new web site (http://www.mountainstreamgroup.com).
Involved with both FPTI and Konstanz Kommunikations prior to the consolidation, Mr. Klingberg said “We combined the companies because our clients were asking for greater access to the visual, verbal and sensory communications design services Mountain Stream Group offers—especially now when they need to find a competitive edge. The experiential communications design consultancy focuses on consumer, business-to-business, industrial, and professional services organizations that desire to integrate various communications disciplines, such as: information architecture, copywriting, industrial design, instructional design and visual identity design among many others, to create and broadcast total communication experiences.
Mr. Klingberg has an engineering background as do many of the communications professionals on the Mountain Stream Group roster. “When we work with our clients—whether it’s doing a market assessment for new business opportunities, providing design/production expertise, consulting on sales channels, helping coordinate an internal quality accreditation process or developing educational seminars—they expect us to understand the specialized demands of their business environment,” said Mr. Klingberg. “Having technical backgrounds enables us to integrate into client projects with short ramp-up time—then quickly identify and creatively solve their most challenging problems.”

Mr. Klingberg explained our clients appreciate the approach his agency takes when it comes to developing total communications experiences and explaining their communications rationales.
